About Tuneread

Tuneread turns links into audio. Paste a link or share one from X, LinkedIn or Safari, press play, and a natural voice reads the article while the text follows along. It strips menus and ads from blogs and news sites, reads whole X threads as one piece, and picks the right voice for each paragraph across 31 neural-voice languages. Voices run on the iPhone, so saved articles play offline, at 0.8x to 2x, in the background and from the Lock Screen. The library has Up Next, Quick Listens under five minutes, shelves per source and full-text search. Free use allows 30 minutes a day; Tuneread Pro is a single payment.

Version 1.0.3 (17 October) added a pause and chord between articles; its release notes don't mention the Duo. Its maker's site shows the home screen with a link field, Up Next and Quick Listens on the left of the open Duo, and on the right the player with the current sentence highlighted, a progress bar and playback controls.
