About The Weather Channel
The Weather Channel is the broadcaster's forecast app. It covers hourly detail, forecasts up to 15 days ahead and a 24-hour future radar, with live Doppler radar maps and storm tracking for severe storms, heavy rain, snow and ice. Personal alerts notify you about the conditions you care about, and there are UV index, pollen, humidity, air quality, allergy and flu forecasts, sunset times and weather news. Widgets put radar, alerts and the next three hours on your Home Screen. Premium removes ads and adds 15-minute forecast details, a 72-hour future radar, air travel updates and probabilistic snowfall.
Version 16.30.3 (3 November) added iPhone Duo support, its release notes say, with new layouts that adapt to folding, unfolding and rotating, alongside a Liquid Glass redesign. The Weather Channel hasn't shown the Duo layout, so the picture here is its iPad layout.
