Dinner for everyone at the table, checked against each person's needs.
Insania Labs
On the Duo: Duo-native. Its maker, Insania Labs, has captured it on the open Duo in the iPhone Duo simulator (Xcode 27.1): who's eating on one half and the people and their needs on the other, the suggestions beside the chosen recipe, and tonight's plan in two columns, split at the hinge. The household in the captures is made-up demo data. Tastebook is in development and not on the App Store yet. Checked October 9, 2026.

Anyone who cooks only for themselves: the point is a table of people with different needs.
Tastebook plans dinner for a household where not everyone can eat everything. Add the people you cook for and their allergies and diets (or invite them to enter their own, privately), choose who's eating tonight and what you're in the mood for, and it suggests dinners checked against everyone at the table, which the table can vote on. It has a weekly plan, recent meals, a Tonight's dinner widget and Live Activities with step-by-step cooking timers. The free tier has 3 AI dinner-suggestion sessions a month; Premium, by monthly or yearly subscription, is unlimited.
On the iPhone Duo each screen splits at the hinge: who's eating beside the people and their needs, suggestions beside the chosen recipe, and tonight beside the plan. Tastebook is in development by Insania Labs and not on the App Store yet; its maker has run these layouts in the iPhone Duo simulator.
