About Ekkoes
Ekkoes keeps the sounds of your trips alongside photos and places. Start a recording in one tap, then add a photo, GPS location, title, tags, mood and notes. On-device tools trim silence, focus voices and reduce wind and noise, with the original always restorable. Recordings appear in a visual library or on a sound map, can be searched by place, tag or date, and resurface on anniversaries or in a Home Screen widget. Shazam identifies music, and Sound Postcards or iCloud shared groups let you pass moments on. Ten recordings are free; a one-time unlock removes the limit.
The release notes for version 2.1.4 do not mention the iPhone Duo. Its maker's site shows the open Duo with a map of Monaco and a pinned recording on the left, and that recording playing on the right over its photo, with the place, date, progress bar and skip controls.
