Doodle Dave

Doodle Dave is a colouring and drawing studio for children and the grown-ups who colour with them. More than 55 pages cover Dave's adventures, animals, oceans, dinosaurs and space; tap a space to fill it with colour or Rainbow, Dots, Sparkle, Stripes and Shade patterns. Crayons, markers, pencils and paint work with a finger or Apple Pencil, alongside about 150 stickers. 65 worksheets trace letters and numbers and practise simple maths. Photo Magic turns a photo into a colouring page on the device, free and unlimited. A comic studio offers six heroes, scenes and speech bubbles; the first comic is free and a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited ones.

The App Store text lists modes for iPhone Duo: quick colouring on the outer screen when folded, a big studio with tools docked beside the page when unfolded, and a book mode with the page on one side and tools on the other when half open. Its maker's site shows the open Duo with a Dave Paints a Rainbow page in the centre, zoom controls bottom left and a rail of fill, crayon, marker, pencil, paint, eraser, sticker and colour tools on the right.
